Copp's Hill Consulting was founded by Catherine Drennan Lynn in 2025, inspired by her passion for strategic communications and public affairs that drive social impact. Named after Copp’s Hill Terrace in Boston’s North End, an important place where Catherine has built her own story, it symbolizes her commitment to community, history, and thoughtful perspective. Overlooking Boston Harbor, Copp’s Hill represents clarity, integrity and vision — a reflection of Catherine's values. Copp’s Hill Consulting was created to help nonprofits, civic leaders and socially driven businesses amplify their impact through strategic, purpose-driven communication and advocacy, blending expertise with dedication to meaningful change.

Catherine Drennan Lynn
Catherine Drennan Lynn is a strategic communications and public affairs expert specializing in nonprofit advocacy and fundraising, mission-driven storytelling, and public engagement. With a deep understanding of the nonprofit sector, she helps organizations amplify their impact, secure critical funding, and advance policy solutions that drive meaningful change.
As Vice President of Communications, Marketing, and Public Affairs at The Greater Boston Food Bank, Catherine led efforts that increased visibility, influenced legislation, and delivered vital resources to communities in need. She has successfully secured millions in state funding, shaped key advocacy campaigns, and played a pivotal role in passing landmark school nutrition policies.
With expertise in media strategy, coalition building, campaign planning and donor engagement, Catherine partners with nonprofits to strengthen their communications, expand their reach, and mobilize support for critical issues. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Northeastern University, a Bachelor's in International Relations from Saint Anselm College, and lives in Boston’s North End with her husband and daughter.
